Timbers Kauai - Ocean Club & Residences

Travel Tips

Those that know Hawaii best will tell you that Kauai is the most inviting and accessible of all the islands. It’s easy to get around and even short distances bring dramatic contrasts. From Hokuala in the same time it takes to scoot over to Poipu’s sunny beaches, one can just as easily be hiking through a tropical rainforest on the North Shore. What makes every day special is that every day can be so different.

Blessed with the island’s most benign climate, every day at Timbers Kauai presents new and invigorating opportunities to play at your own pace. Few places on earth offer such a diversity of experience – to explore nature, culture, sport and tradition.

Kauai and Lihue Airport (LIH) are well served with direct flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Phoenix. Connecting via Honolulu opens up innumerable flight options and is but a 20-minute connection. Another welcoming feature is that few airports today are as intimate as Lihue – easy is the operative word.

The Garden Isle is the smallest and least populated of the major Hawaiian Islands, virtually free from traffic and an absolute joy to explore.  View map.

Hokuala’s central location makes adventures both east and west convenient.
